Turtle's Disability Hub

The School Leaver Employment Supports (SLES) offers individualised support after leaving school for year 12 students (aged 17-20) with disabilities. SLES provides an employment pathway  for  up to 2 years after school to make a transition from school into the open employment market.

• Work experience in a variety of settings

• Workplace health & safety training

• Workplace excursions

• Travel training

• Time management & money handling

• Taking instructions

SLES is a personalised program built around individual needs. When the school leaver has been deemed eligible for school leaver’s employment supports, they will be included in a program to build their skills to find and maintain employment.
