Program

Centre based day programs include both in-centre and community activities where people with disabilities can have supervised programs to develop and maintain skills. Day programs small group activities, large social events as well as learning, leisure, work experience, recreational and cultural activities. Day programs provide a number of supports:

Bridges Disabilities

 

 

Bridges provides recreational respite programs for children and adults with moderate to severe disabilities in the Hawkesbury area, including a day program for school leavers with moderate to severe disabilities.

See Foundation's Group Day Programs are for Adults 18+ for all-abilities. It is a choice based program with center based and community based activities chosen and tailored to the individuals participation and care requirements from their extensive activities list.

NADO Day Programs

NADO provides Day Programs for young adults and mature aged people with disability. NADO offers regular daily or weekly options with accessible vehicles to both in-centre and community activities supported by caring staff. NADO’s Community Day Programs offer tailored programs for people with moderate to complex requirements relating to their individual intellectual disabilities.

Flintwood Disability Services

Flintwood's day programs provide recreational activities each week for individuals with a disability over the age of 18.  Their day programs explores local communities and learn valuable life skills such as buying a drink at a cafe or catching public transport . Alternatively day program groups can venture out in the community with activities such as bowling or sailing. Flintwood's Centres include:

Opal Cottage

(Northwest Disability Services)

Opal Cottage provides a number of services including community participation and social activities programs including Wednesday Evenings & Saturdays.  Opal Cottage also has a number of clients who access our service as self funded individuals attending programs one or two days per week.

Orchard Hills

(Sunnyfield)

Sunnyfield's Orchard Hills Day Program offers a range of active support options for people with disability to try new things, learn additional skills and get involved in the local community. Sunnyfield can provide daily active programs that support your choices which may include outings in the community, art classes, learning to cook, animal and garden care, and more.

Thorndale Leisure, Living & Lifeskills

Thorndale provides a range of Leisure, Living and Life Skills program options for people with a disability in which participants enjoy community based activities suited to their individual needs and identified goals in many areas including community access, life skills, social skills, numeracy & literacy as well as creative expression.

Afford Day Programs are hubs of activity where groups of like-minded individuals are supported to learn, develop and explore the world around them. They offer a range of activities specially tailored for people with moderate to severe disability in an inclusive and engaging environment.

CreateAbility provides arrange of choices for adults living with a disability, including community or centre-based programs. CreateAbility provides a holistic service offering opportunities and programs that are tailored to fulfil individual needs and aspirations.
