Daily Adaptive Equipment are low-cost, low-risk assistive technologies that are readily identified, locally sourced and integrated into the participant's life. This assistive technology is typically available ‘off the shelf’ and either needs minor adjustments or straightforward training. With appropriate advice by an assistive technology assessor, participants can now purchase items where they have one of the following nine support items in their plan, without the need for agency review including assistive products and accessories relating to:
